~ NEW TO CHRISTIAN CHAPEL~

New To Christian Chapel?

We are interested in you connecting with Christian Chapel. Our desire is to create environments that will help you to become part of the body and progress in your spiritual journey through life ultimately becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

"Foyer" environments are those places where you can meet people, feel comfortable and relaxed, and, hopefully, get a sense of belonging so you will want to return and connect. Our Sunday Services, special events, outreach projects, etc. are "foyer" environments. You probably got here by coming in the "foyer". We hope you feel like you belong.

In "Living Room" environments we want anyone who is new and a treasured guest to become a friend. This is where you can connect, get to know others and they get to know you, where you can assess your spiritual mile marker and begin to move forward in your relationship with Jesus and with the church. Sunday mornings we gather in the "Living Room" around "Coffee Table Groups", which are designed to get to know a small group of people while discussing Biblical topics related to spiritual growth. Gathering in one another's homes is a typical "living room" environment. Some of the best connections we make are informal friendships that grow and last for a lifetime. If you can't find a way to connect ask a staff member and we'll help you.

The "Kitchen" is the place where friends become family, the environment where intimacy begins to develop and work is done. In the "kitchen" you get to know others on a deeper level, to challenge one another towards Christian maturity, and to hold each other accountable for that growth. In the "kitchen" spiritual gifts are put into operation to support and grow the body of Christ. "Kitchen" environments can be found in small groups, in ministry teams, in discipleship triads, or in one on one connections.

Our ultimate goal is for everyone who comes to Christian Chapel to move from the foyer into the living room and eventually into the kitchen. If you need help connecting in one of these ways please call on the staff or ministry team coaches. We want you to feel like you belong at all times.
