1. The Scriptures Inspired
We believe the Bible is God’s Word, completely true and trustworthy. It’s our ultimate guide for living.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
2. The One True God
There is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, both fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, and is now in heaven with God the Father.
(John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9)
4. The Fall of Man
God created humans good, but we chose to disobey Him, bringing sin and death into the world.
(Genesis 1:27, Romans 5:12-19)
5. The Salvation of Man
Salvation is a free gift from God, received by faith in Jesus Christ. We can’t earn it, we simply accept it.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10)
6. The Ordinances of the Church
We practice two ordinances:
Water Baptism: A public declaration of our faith in Jesus, symbolized by immersion in water. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38)
Holy Communion: A symbolic remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice, sharing bread and juice. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
After salvation, believers can experience a special empowerment from the Holy Spirit for witnessing and serving God.
(Acts 1:8, 2:4)
8. The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The initial evidence of this baptism is often speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance.
(Acts 2:4, 10:44-46)
9. Sanctification
We believe in a lifelong process of growing in holiness, becoming more like Jesus every day.
(1 Thessalonians 4:3, Hebrews 12:14)
10. The Church and Its Mission
The Church is the body of Christ, and its mission is to share the good news of Jesus with the world.
(Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:1-6)
11. The Ministry
God calls and equips leaders to serve the Church and fulfill its mission.
(Ephesians 4:11-12)
12. Divine Healing
God can heal the sick in answer to prayer. It’s an expression of His love and compassion.
(Isaiah 53:4-5, James 5:14-16)
13. The Blessed Hope
Jesus is coming back again! This hope motivates us to live holy lives and share our faith.
(Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
14. The Millennial Reign of Christ
After Jesus returns, He will reign on earth for 1000 years, bringing peace and justice.
(Revelation 20:1-6)
15. The Final Judgment
There will be a final judgment where everyone will be held accountable for their actions.
(Revelation 20:11-15, 2 Corinthians 5:10)
16. The New Heavens and the New Earth
God will create a new heaven and a new earth where His people will live with Him forever.
(Revelation 21:1-4, 2 Peter 3:13)
